The Energy Master program started education in the 2003-2004 academic year. It is a highly respected and preferred multi-disciplinary master's program in wide national and international collaboration.
Why choose this program?
The Energy Master program will allow you to explore the practical application of nanoscience, nanomaterials and nanotechnology for the production and storage of renewable energy.
You will gain expertise through an individual research project in our research groups by utilizing qualified and well-equipped Education and Research Laboratory facilities from different departments in Basic Sciences and Engineering.
What will you study?
The energy master program explores the theoretical and practical application of nanoscience, nanomaterials and nanotechnology for the production and storage of renewable energy.
The completion of your studying will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills you need to advance your career in this rapidly evolving field.
Study abroad
There may be opportunities to gain European experience by conducting research abroad during your studies. You can do this either in the semester or in the summer term with an Erasmus or internship grant to work on your thesis.
Research
You will have the opportunity to do exciting research on topics such as Functional Nano Materials, Energy Storage Materials, Solar Cell Production, Hydraulic Structures, Renewable Energy and Perovskite solar cells.
After graduation
The energy department can take part in different job sites for the production of energy resources.
It is aimed for the graduates to have a culture, innovative character, state-of-the-art technology and engineering skills that can solve all kinds of problems in the long term.
One of these objectives is to provide an engineering culture that can create sustainable energy strategies and roadmaps for sustainability in a wide platform of cooperation and innovation.
The Department of Energy, which conducts academic activities in cooperation with the industrial organizations in the region, converts the project studies required by the industrial organizations into graduate theses and offers an education compatible with the requirements of the era.
It aims to provide an educational opportunity for the students to reinforce their academic subjects in the private sector.
